What's On

At Miranda Congregational church we host a wide variety of events suitable for all ages. These events are updated regularly so make sure you check back often to find out what's coming up. If you have any questions about any of these events please contact the church office here.

  • Sunday Services

    Come and join us as we're finding out together what it means to follow Jesus in the 21st Century. As well, there's the opportunity to meet some new friends.  
    We have a
    ctivities for the kids during the morning service. 

    Read the Bible in a Year

    Read the Bible in a Year

    Engage in reading the Word of God at a number of levels. Simply read the designated readings from the New Testament only each day, or add in Psalms/Proverbs, or the Old Testament as well.

    Both men and women are invited to join us for a variety of crafts including Oil Painting, Card Making, Drawing, Cross Stitch, Knitting, Crochet and Beading.

    Every second Thursday
    during school terms
    7pm - 9pm

    in the Church hall

    Join our friendly group for craft, devotions and of course, a chat. Check the upcoming dates below:

  • Playtime Group

    Playtime Group

    Every Friday
    during school terms

    9.30am - 11.30am
    at the Church - lower hall

    Playtime is for young children from birth to 6 years and their parent or carer.  The children enjoy free play, craft, storytime, music and games whilst you have the opportunity to spend time with them and social time with other adults. All are most welcome to come along.
    First 2 visits are FREE


    WISE (Seniors)

    Every Wednesday
    during school terms
    9.30am - 11am

    in the Church hall

    WISE group is designed for 'Seniors'.  We have a varied program including guest speakers on a range of topics, days to share favourite music, poems or special items, travel presentations, DVDs and also excursions within the Shire.  Each meeting begins with morning tea and a chat.  You are invited to join our group.

    You are welcome to join us for morning tea and a chat at 9.30am followed by a presentation by Beverley Ernshaw about the history of Carss Park.

    There will be plenty of games and fun for all children in years 3 to 6.  Dinner and dessert will be provided.

    of Underworld Laser Tag
    at Menai Catholic Club.

    Join us for a lovely morning of sharing stories of our school days, morning tea and a chat. Everyone is very welcome.

    Movie Night

    at the Church basement

    Come along for a Movie Night with your friends where you can relax and have some laughs. This social activity is for anyone in years 6 to 9.

    Our group begins at 9.30am with morning tea and a chat. Alan Best will then share about one of his overseas trips which is sure to be very interesting.

  • Junior Camp

    Junior Camp

    at Camp Fletcher, Hazelbrook

    Junior Camp is a 5 day camp (including travel) for children in years 3 to 7. The theme this year is 'Heroes of Faith'.

    Kids Holiday Club

    Kids Holiday Club is for all school children from Kindergarten to year 6. There will be plenty of activities including bible stories, games and craft. Morning tea and lunch is provided each day.

  • Clothes Swap

    Clothes Swap

    Saturday, 27th July
    at the Church hall

    Ladies of all ages are invited to our Clothes Swap. Clear your clutter and spark joy. Bring along women's and kids clothes and accessories to exchange for something else. Please ensure all items are clean and in good condition. Coffee and dessert will be provided.



    Tuesday, 13th August
    10am - 12 noon
    at the Church

    Women of all ages are welcome to join us for an inspirational morning. Our guest speaker is Di Riley who will be sharing about Ruth - a Faithful Influence. A scrumptious morning tea and a light lunch of sandwiches will be available. Looking forward to seeing you!
