At Miranda Congregational church we host a wide variety of events suitable for all ages. These events are updated regularly so make sure you check back often to find out what's coming up. If you have any questions about any of these events please contact the church office here.

  • Sunday Services

    9.30am morning service
    6.00pm evening service

    Come and join us as we're finding out together what it means to follow Jesus in the 21st Century. As well, there's the opportunity to meet some new friends.  
    We have a
    ctivities for the kids during the morning service. 

    Read the Bible in a Year

    Read the Bible in a Year

    Engage in reading the Word of God at a number of levels. Simply read the designated readings from the New Testament only each day, or add in Psalms/Proverbs, or the Old Testament as well.

  • Thursday Morning Craft

    Both men and women are invited to join us for a variety of crafts.  We meet weekly in the Church hall.

    Term 4:
    Every Thursday from
    19th October to 7th December
    Time:  9.30am - 11.30am
    Cost:  $2.00 each week (covers Morning Tea)

    Thursday Evening Friendship Group

    Join us for craft and devotions, we meet every second week during school terms in the Church hall.

    Term 4:
    12th and 26th October,
    9th and 23rd November,
    7th December

    Time:  7pm - 9pm
    Cost:  $2.00 

  • Embrace Picnic

    Picnic at Carss Park

    Sunday, 17th September
    11.30am - 2.30pm
    Carss Park, Blakehurst

    Join us for a Picnic at Carss Park. Bring a picnic lunch, rug or folding chairs and enjoy the afternoon out with others. Park in the main car park in Bunyala Street and look for the Embrace banner. There is a bike track, play equipment and a shore with sand, so bring whatever you need to enjoy these facilities. Everyone Welcome, bring your family and friends.


    Movie Night on the BIG Screen (G or PG)

    Friday, 22nd September
    5.30pm - 8.30pm
    at the Church

    Come dressed in your onesie or pj's if you like and bring a pillow for extra comfort whilst watching the movie. Dinner and dessert is provided.
    Cost is $5

    Cinema under the Stars

    Friday, 22nd September
    6.30pm - 8.45pm

    at the Church Cottage

    As the last activity for this term, we are having a
    Movie and Onesie Night so wear a onesie, if you like, and come along to enjoy a relaxing and fun night. 
    Invite some friends too.
    Cost: Nil

    OCC Shoebox Sunday

    Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Sunday

    Sunday, 22nd October
    - 3.00pm
    in the Church Hall

    Join us to pack a shoebox full of gifts for a child living in poverty who has never experienced the thrill of receiving a gift OR deliver you own packed shoebox.
    We supply the shoeboxes and a variety of gifts for you to choose. Costs $20 to fill a box (includes $10 freight cost). A sausage sizzle will be available for lunch. EVERYONE IS INVITED.

    Bare Facts on Forgiveness

    Tuesday, 10th October
    10am - 12noon
    in the Church Hall

    Our cafe style meeting is for ladies of all ages. Join us for a lovely morning and enjoy the friendly atmosphere. Our speaker this month is Louise Gosbell. A scrumptious morning tea and a light lunch of sandwiches will be served.
