At Miranda Congregational church we host a wide variety of events suitable for all ages. These events are updated regularly so make sure you check back often to find out what's coming up. If you have any questions about any of these events please contact the church office here.

  • Sunday Services

    9.30am Morning service
    6.00pm Evening service

    Come and join us as we're finding out together what it means to follow Jesus in the 21st Century. As well, there's the opportunity to meet some new friends.  
    We have a
    ctivities for the kids during the morning service. 

    Read the Bible in a Year

    Read the Bible in a Year

    Engage in reading the Word of God at a number of levels. Simply read the designated readings from the New Testament only each day, or add in Psalms/Proverbs, or the Old Testament as well.

  • Thursday Morning Craft

    Both men and women are invited to join us for a variety of crafts.  We meet weekly in the Church hall.

    Term 4:
    Every Thursday from
    25th October to 6th December
    Time:  9.30am - 11.30am
    Cost:  $2.00 each week (covers Morning Tea)

    Thursday Evening Friendship Group

    Join us for craft and devotions, we meet every second week during school terms in the Church hall.

    Time:  7pm - 9pm
    Cost:  $2.00 

  • Playtime Group

    Playtime Group

    Every Friday
    during school terms

    9.30am - 11.30am
    at the Church - lower hall

    Playtime is for young children from birth to 6 years and their parent or carer.  The children enjoy free play, craft, storytime, music and games whilst you have the opportunity to spend time with them and social time with other adults. All are most welcome to come along.
    First 2 visits are FREE


    WISE (Seniors)

    Every Wednesday
    during school terms
    9.45am - 11.00am

    at the Church

    WISE group is designed for 'Seniors'.  We have a varied program including guest speakers on a range of topics, days to share favourite music, poems or special items, travel presentations, DVDs and also excursions within the Shire.  Each meeting begins with morning tea and a chat.  You are invited to join our group.

  • OCC

    Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Collection

    at the Church

    Our Church is a Drop Off Point for Operation Christmas Child so bring your packed boxes to add to our collection.  We will arrange transport to the OCC Processing Centre to begin the amazing journey to a child overseas.

    This week our guest speaker is Peter Sage who is a regular visitor to our group.  Peter's presentation will be on the World of Disney, Los Angeles.  You are welcome to join us for morning tea and friendship.

    This is an event for all ages.  There will be a display of both new and classic cars as well as food, coffee, music and kids’ activities.  Everyone is invited to come along and enjoy the evening.


    Read any Good Books? Book Review

    Ladies of all ages are warmly invited to our next meeting to be held on Tuesday, 11th December.  This will be a Christmas Celebration, singing Carols, enjoying a Guest Artist, as well as a time to be reminded of the true reason for the season.   Please come along and enjoy the Christmas  morning together at 10am, and a lovely Christmas Lunch afterwards.  Please feel free to invite your friends.  "A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices"  "A holy night ...     Gingerbread House

    Gingerbread House Making

    Come and join in the fun of constructing and decorating a Gingerbread House for Christmas.  Gluten free and Chocolate Gingerbread Houses are available upon request.
